Boku dake ga Inai Machi, or Erased in English, is clearly the most popular Winter Season Anime of 2016. With it's sky rocketing popularity and rank on myanimelist in such a small amount of time, Erased has successfully caught the attention of the crowd and everyone has probably watched it or thought of watching it soon. So here I'm writing a honest and positive review of Erased.
Story: 8/10
Erased narrates the story of Satoru Fujinuma, who is a 29 years old and works as a
pizza delivery boy. He posses a strange ability called 'Revival'. This .
Ippo successfully knocked out a junior lightweight, junior featherweight, lightweight, featherweight, and a welterweight. Ippo went back to the Kamogawa gym where Aoki ended Ippo's knockout streak. When Fujii entered the gym, Ippo learned that Mari went to Osaka for research. Ippo discuss his thoughts about Sendō to Mari. Later, Ippo was approached by Mari, who returned from Osaka, asking for his opinion on her magazine article about his and Sendō's match. Ippo described the article section about Sendō's spar as if he was watching it and noted Sendō's widened stance would make it hard to push him back and felt that he won't be able to use his Dempsey Roll. Ippo then expressed how instead of
going into the match thinking of it as a title match, he believed that they are not fighting over a belt. At his home, Ippo gave a ticket to Umezawa and planned on giving two to Kumi and one to Nekota along with a letter. Ippo was then unable to sleep that night in his room as his heart would not stop racing in anticipation for the fight. Ippo and Sendō shaking hands. The day before the match, Ippo arrived to the Kōrakuen Hall and met Sendō in the weigh-in room.
As said by Hori, “The less she wants you to know she’s upset, the
bigger she smiles”. True feelings can not always been shown, there are many circumstances to people. Ishikawa is a long time friend of Hori and Yuki, he is also
becomes good friends with Miyamura. Though he’s one of the more simple characters, he cares about others a lot. When Yoshikawa tried to make cupcakes but it didn’t turn out well, Toru was poking fun at her, he happened to glance at her fingers and notice some bandages, which is proof how hard she tried to make those cupcakes. He immediately starts eating those, even though it looks inedible, he eats all of it, with a big smile on his face. There’s the student council president, Sengoku and Remi who have their own unique dynamic. He is with her because he thinks she’s weak and he likes the feeling like he can protect her. But actually, she isn’t weak at all. Remi lets him feel that way on purpose because she likes him so much. Kouno is also very insecure because she’s always with Remi, who’s like an idol at her school, similar to Hori.
