Katana ZERO: The game itself doesn't look like this, but look at any of the official art and it becomes immediately apparent. whose battle system has a very strong Chrono Trigger vibe to it. It's nostalgia fodder for
SNES JRPGs. The box art for Fable is rather animesque, to the point where you could be forgiven for assuming it's an Eastern RPG. The in-game graphics however are much more
western looking, and later games' box art more closely resemble the in-game graphics. The Caverns of Hammerfest contains a few animesque traits, what with the blurred-feet running animation for Igor and the little dance he might do after you idle — the latter being is a homage to Haré+Guu.

Both the manga and anime have been met with positive responses. In 2016, Haikyu!! won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category. By September 2023, the manga had over 60 million copies in circulation, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. There, a violent confrontation unfolds between Tetsuo, Kaneda, Kei, and the Espers. The Doctor decides to try to let Tetsuo harness Akira — the project's test subject that destroyed Tokyo — despite Tetsuo's disturbed personality. Upon learning that Akira is being
stored in a cryogenic chamber beneath Neo-Tokyo's new Olympic Stadium, Tetsuo escapes the skyscraper with the intent of releasing Akira.
