The first two episodes were shown at an event on January 5, 2016, at Shinjuku Ward 9. A live-action movie adaptation was released in Japan on March 19, 2016 which also featured an alternate ending.

The most obvious for me is the fact they never contact each other, even when they are switching bodies. I know my very first question would be, who the hell are you? The film is ambitious and it is a lot of fun narratively, not a lot of films these days would create something this unique. The success shows you the demand for original content in this Hollywood consuming world. I couldn't get past a lot the storyline failings but there is something here for the average film buff. 05-02-2018. After seeing this film on the big screen, I now see what all of the chatter was about. Not only is this film beautifully animated and one of the best stories to come from any Anime film in recent memory, but the emotional impact this film delivers in the third act is truly out of this world. You may or may not be able to get a chance to see this film at this point in time, but once this film is available to stream or purchase, I can't recommend this film enough, especially if you are a fan of this genre of filmmaking.

I've always wondered where this sentence came from and where was it first used. I've once been told that it was the first sentence ever to be displayed on a computer screen, but I've not been able to find any reference to this. So my question is:
Where does the practice to use 'hello, world' as the first example for computer languages originate from?

Although the answers are quite interesting, I should have noted that I had read the Wikipedia article. It does answer the question about the first use in literature, but does not answer when 'hello world' was first used.

BCPL was used while C was being developed at Bell Labs a few years before the publication of Kernighan and Ritchie's C book in 1972. As part of the research for a book I was writing about the Alice programming environment, I corresponded with both Prof. Kernighan at Princeton and Martin Richards at Cambridge (when I was teaching a seminar there in the 1990’s). They helped me to track the first documented use of code to print the message "Hello, World!” Brian Kernighan remembered writing the code for part of the I/O section of the BCPL manual. Martin Richards -- who seems to have a treasure trove of notes, old documents, etc.
