jjba stands with roller blades zom 100: bucket list of the dead.

By the time the system went on sale in the United States, in September of 1995, Sega's Saturn console had already been released, and the Sony PlayStation was just days away. Both of these consoles had 10 times the horsepower of SNK's NeoGeo. Gamers were hardly itching to bust out CD versions of SNK's popular 2D fighting games; they were champing at the bit to try out home versions of Namco's 3D Tekken and Ridge Racer games on the snazzy new PlayStation. To compound matters, SNK of Japan didn't send SNK of America the newer double-speed CDZ unit to sell in North America. Instead, the US branch was saddled with the unenviable task of trying to market the older single-speed model. Rather than push the NeoGeo CD heavily in North America, SNK of America put its ad budget toward games like Samurai Shodown II, King of Fighters '95, and Fatal Fury 3. SNK of Japan didn't fund a major ad campaign for the NeoGeo CD in North America like it had done in Japan. Few stores would carry the NeoGeo CD, since the shelves were already packed with games and accessories for no fewer than four mass-market game products: the Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and Sony PlayStation. In the end, rather than push the underpowered single-speed NeoGeo CD, SNK of America consolidated its operations and shifted its focus back toward the part of the company that was still making money, the arcade division. Chad Okada and many of the familiar faces of the "Bigger, Badder, Better" era left the company. As a result of the consolidation, SNK of America put the lion's share of its resources into the sale and distribution of MVS hardware and games.

After all, Hori has a perfect combination of beauty and brains, while Miyamura appears meek and distant to his fellow classmates. However, a fateful meeting between the two lays both of their hidden selves bare. Even though she is popular at school, Hori has little time to socialize with her friends due to housework. On the other hand, Miyamura lives under the noses of his peers, his body bearing secret tattoos and piercings that make him look like a gentle delinquent.
Having opposite personalities yet sharing odd similarities, the two quickly become friends and often spend time together in Hori's home. As they both emerge from their shells, they share with each other a side of themselves concealed from the outside world.

Their leader, a professionally-trained driver named Kyoichi Sudo, challenged Takumi to a race at Akagi to “teach him some things” and as a sort of cover event for his race with Ryosuke, his primary target. Takumi declined his proposal at first but eventually accepted after being infuriated with seeing Natsuki with a Mercedes Driver which left him at a disadvantage from the get-go. This race saw Takumi's Eight-Six blow its engine. While it may have been a defeat for Takumi, Kyoichi did not consider it a race instead considering it more as a seminar to show Takumi how much he needs a better car as he believes the Eight-Six is far too old to match Takumi's skill level. Kyoichi, believing in his street racing philosophy that professional circuit techniques were adequate to conquer the mountains passes, races Ryosuke who had the opposing philosophy that somehow, the fastest street racing required more than just what the circuit could teach. Ryosuke proceeds to defeat Kyoichi after noticing and exploiting Kyoichi's inability to tackle some right-hand corners with full confidence.
He then travels to the mountains where he meets an old friend of his and his father's, named Reiichi Andou. When first meeting up Andou lifts Baki with one hand and centers him in the palm of said hand. He looks at Baki and says "I haven't seen a human in a year, maybe I should eat you" all while licking his lips, it is not yet certain if he was joking or not. Baki with a big smile tells Andou that it is him, Andou realizes it and gives Baki a giant hug. Then he places Baki back on his feet with a big smile because he so glad to see his old friend. But then Baki collapses from fatigue. Andou brings him inside. Baki during his battle with Yasha-Zaru. Then the scene cuts to Baki in the water of a river refreshing himself. Baki looks up and sees an old tree and rushes through the forest to see it. When he gets there he meets with Andou again and Ando explains the history behind the tree.
