The Demon Back is rarely seen, but it’s a sign that Yujiro is actually taking a fight seriously. Baki has learned how to use the Demon Back technique, though he rarely employs it, claiming it is an unfair advantage in direct combat. Ultimately, Yujiro is famous for being absurdly overpowered in his home series to the point where any other fighter can only be second place at best. The world of Baki is full of insane martial artists, but nobody comes close to Yujiro. His sheer presence makes him a great overarching antagonist for the long-running series, and Baki may one day grow enough to pose a threat to him. He has been fighting on the battlefield using only his body, since the age of sixteen, when he fought against both American and Vietcong in the Vietnam Since then, it appears that he has a sharingan obtained respect from the American forces(although in reality it is more of their submission to him for fear of his strength), and has begun fighting as a kind of mercenary for them,Having little to no interest in monetary gain in exchange he recieves treatment with a lavish lifestyle that few billionares could afford to keep gourmet meals with the caloric equivalent of Olympic athletes meals ,transport at a whim with military escort, luxury hotel suites as well as any training spaces he may want such as a waterfall swimming pool that a normal man would die in, Yujiro also seems to delight in terrorizing and humiliating anyone that would appear to the public as a moreman such as George W.
Itagaki then had his match with Ippo as his second, hoping to get praised, but by the end of the first round, Ippo criticised him. Ippo continued to criticise him throughout the match until he won by decision. Acknowledging that being a second was hard, Ippo decided to scout someone for the gym. Ippo then
passed by the riverbank and saw a group of bullies picking on a kid. In response, he went down in an attempt to stop them. Ippo performs a dogeza. Prisoner to his conscious, Ippo decided to defuse the situation by performing a dogeza after knocking down one of the bullies. The leader, Taihei, told the others to back off, knowing they would lose from feeling Ippo's strength. Ippo saw reminiscent qualities in the bullied child, Teru, that reminded him of himself and upon seeing this, he tried to convince him to
become a boxer. Ippo had it in his mind that Teru had amazing punching power, mostly due to the similarities between them when Ippo was a student. At the gym, he managed to get Teru to draw a picture of Taihei, which looked almost identical to him in stark contrast to Takamura's attempt to draw Umezawa.
It still uses a lot of anime cliches, such as magical weapons, power-up transformations, color-coded chosen
warriors and the aforementioned Shonen Hair. It also mixes several other Asian themes into it as well, most notably Sensei-Wu, who appears more Chinese than Japanese. Video Games Afterimage is a Chinese-made game, but with an anime art style, best seen in promotional material and in the designs of characters such as Renee. ANNO: Mutationem: The character designs have elements with notion to anime, particularly unique expressions and animesque traits that have detailed highlights and settings rendered in stylized detail. The Mystery Console DLC is also presented in a Super-Deformed-style gameplay. Phantom Dust was made by Microsoft to
sell in Asian countries, then ported back into America later. The theme, character design, and plot all mimic common Anime and Manga attributes. It was unsurprisingly much more popular in America than in Japan. Shogo: Mobile Armor Division, an early FPS from Monolith (the first to use their LithTech technology), heavily influenced by mecha anime. Gekido: Urban Fighters: While the characters are drawn in western comic book style, the storyline and aesthetic are evocative of late 80s and 90s cyberpunk anime.
