gumball 3000 gagnant 2023 valkyrie apocalypse saison 2 épisode 11

Every few months, I hear something about an isekai that “breaks the mold”, only to usually see for myself that it relies on a cheap gimmick to set itself apart from its predecessors. Isekai Ojisan, in my opinion, is that rare isekai that actually does break the mold. Because its premise thrives on the retrospective of having “finished” the isekai part already, the show makes no explicit effort to avoid the usual tropes. It embraces them and cleverly uses them to set up its jokes.
I’d be exaggerating if I said Isekai Ojisan is the funniest isekai I’ve ever seen, but I simply can’t get enough of its dry, meta humor. Paired with a relatively drab setting and a daffy soundtrack (complete with the goofy ukulele bend), the timing and delivery of the uncle’s lines are just awesome. He manages to look extremely incel-y but has the most dawg-esque personality you could ask for. Despite being infuriatingly dense, unintelligent, and kind of creepy, that man is certainly the star of this season. In fact, the livelihood of the show thrives on this fact, making use of the uncle’s utter stupidity and inability to read social cues to set up funny and interesting situations.
Though the rest of the cast is relatively flat (even the uncle can’t be called dynamic), they’re all quirky and fun to watch. Considering that the main focus of the work is on its comedy, any and all lack of development is completely passable in my opinion.

[17] Writing for thereviewgeek. com, Greg Wheeler praised the plot and characters but opined that the show has a slightly overlong runtime. [18] Netflix streaming[edit] Netflix acquired the right to the show and started showing it on its streaming, according to Variety Ted Sarandos, Netflix's CCO, said "Animation has a very strong history in France and French animators are among the best and most innovative in the world. " Sarandos added that Netflix expected "to further strengthen our relationship with Ankama and other French animation studios. "[19] The series started airing on Netflix in September 2014. [19] The dub for Season 3 uses an entirely new voice cast based in Los Angeles. [20] Kickstarter campaigns[edit] On January 20, 2014, Ankama launched a Kickstarter campaign to produce an English-language dub of the series for release on region-free Blu-ray Disc in English speaking territories. [3] The campaign had a target of $80,000 Canadian Dollars to dub the first season, with stretch goals to produce dubs of the second season and various original video animation episodes. [21] The campaign's goal to dub Season 1 was met on January 21, 2014, and the campaign's goal to dub Season 2 was met on January 30, 2014. On June 8, 2020, Ankama launched yet another Kickstarter campaign for the production of the fourth and final season of the series, with an initial target of €100,000; the target was reached within an hour after the campaign was started. At the beginning of the series, Yukiji is a single unmarried woman who works as a customs official (often comically mistaken by Kenji's friends and local townsfolk for a narcotics officer). She bumps into Kenji and the gang at an airport in Tokyo when her disobedient drug sniffing dog named Blue Three (a Japanese pun on the name Bruce Lee), attacks Kenji. [9] Yukiji assists Kenji during Bloody New Year's Eve and, following his disappearance, becomes Kanna's guardian per his wishes. A mannequin dressed as Friend Friend (ともだち, Tomodachi) The main antagonist of the series. An enigmatic cult leader who uses the symbol Kenji and his friends created in the 1970s. By 1997, his followers have filled venues such as the Budokan. [5] One of his secret goals is to take over the world. [10] Friend's face is hidden in shadow or by a mask throughout the series. [11] His true identity is one of the driving mysteries of the series. By the year 2000, the Friendship Democratic Party (FDP) is established as a political group with government representatives such as Manjome Inshu. [12] Over the course of the series, two people assume the identity of Friend: Fukubei, who is one of Kenji's schoolmates, initially appears to be one of Kenji's allies, and Katsumata, another of Kenji's schoolmates, the latter of whom actually possesses special powers.
