He offered to help, getting a book hawk rearing from Maruta's facility, and reading to him upon learning that Tsuzura's mother refused to teach him to read. Boruto began teaching him to read and write, and the two exchanged messages through Yuki. The next day, he continued helping Tsuzura, but was discovered by Mozu, who blamed him for putting ideas on his head, and whose underling threatened to arrest Boruto. Tsuzura left with Mozu to spare Boruto. Boruto is captured and confined.
