[105] In the original plans for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics Opening Ceremony, Akira was to be featured in order to appeal to Japan's "soft power" among youth. The original plans featured Kaneda riding into the stadium on his motorcycle. As Japan scholar Tagsold notes, there is an inherent irony in the use of Akira to promote the 2020 Olympics. The original manga (and to a lesser extent the film) contains strong anti-Olympic sentiment and contains several references to the 1964 Olympics, and in the story the Olympics are also scheduled to be held in Tokyo in 2020, where they are to symbolize Japan's rebirth and recovery from a nuclear disaster that takes place in the 1980s in the story setting (the dates differ between the manga and the film). Tagsold notes, "By referencing the 1964 Games, Ōtomo paints a highly critical image of the first Tokyo Olympics, reflecting the mood of the early 1980s, when citizens vehemently opposed plans to host the Olympics in Nagoya. "[106] Nonetheless, the original plans also included Ōtomo creating an illustration for the ceremony, indicative of his own complex perspective on what the Olympics mean for Japan. Ultimately, the irony of an anti-Olympic story being used to promote the Olympics was avoided when the Olympics themselves were postponed due to the pandemic, and the original production team was replaced. one piece resume episode 1

Simultaneously, the Marines intercept Sabo's call to the Revolutionary Army at the Kamabakka Kingdom. The Five Elders at Mary Geoise learn of Sabo's location at Lulusia, a kingdom in upheaval during the Levely. Sabo contacts the Revolutionary Army, reassuring them he did not assassinate King Cobra, contrary to the news reports circulating. When he is about to tell them what he actually witnessed that day at the Empty Throne inside the Pangaea Castle, one of the Five Elders orders the Marines' Communication Department to cut off communications and to forget that they ever traced or heard Sabo's call. Elsewhere, Imu crosses off Lulusia on a map. The sky over Lulusia darkens and starts glowing with an eerie green light. Suddenly, rays of red light come raining down on the island, destroying everything and everyone they hit. Sabo's call to the Revolutionary Army is abruptly cut off. In a matter of seconds, the island is obliterated, resulting in a huge seaquake originating from where the island used to be. A few days later, the Straw Hats enter the climate range of a harsh winter island nearby, encountering a massive Warm Eddy. Luffy spots someone inside the water column so Zoro cuts the water in half to rescue her. org/w/index. php?title=Overlord_(season_4)&oldid=1212491366" Categories: Overlord episode lists2022 Japanese television seasonsHidden categories: CS1 Japanese-language sources (ja)Articles with short descriptionShort description matches WikidataPages using infobox television season with the season name parameterArticles containing Japanese-language text This page was last edited on 8 March 2024, at 04:07 (UTC). "If I look at the one thorn that is in my side of all my life, it is my weight. I fret about it, I'm anxious about it, being an actor on TV - it drives me insane. It just seems to be something that plays a central part in waking up in the morning and thinking: "How am I with myself today?" - Deborah Mailman
You would think that for such a self-titled show that all you're gonna see is how these two central characters would blossom, right? But instead of the rose that we got with Hori and Miyamura's relationship, there are more thorns on the stem of the side characters, as significant or insignificant as they may be (that's to your POV that I won't judge). By themselves, the side characters can be taken as a side story altogether, but since they're connected to the main bubbly girl, I'd guess that this works primarily to advance their circumstances, rather than being tied onto the main couple, and for a rom-com that deems to be a romantic "drama" altogether, I'm not sure if mixing in too much of slice-of-life moments is a good choice. Pretty much like Tomozaki-kun, the best way to infer is through the clique method:
- Toru Ishikawa, Yuki Yoshikawa, Akane Yanagi and Hori herself. Toru being avid about his prospects of getting together with Hori only diminishes when he sees that the central couple are getting closer, quicker than it looks on the outside. Instead, he tries his best to steer clear of that direction, leading him to Yuki. but not quite the "closeness" as of yet. It's with the fickle-minded Yanagi that consciously brings Toru and Yuki close together, despite both playing the friendship treatment of going so far as to notice the affinities they have for each other.
