Pseudo-Geto proceeds to remotely activate Mahito's Idle Transfiguration on two different kinds of non-sorcerers all over Japan, those who consumed cursed objects like Yuji, and those with latent cursed techniques like Junpei, turning them all into sorcerers; among those awakened are Tsumiki Fushiguro. Pseudo-Geto declares he will force the two groups to kill each other in order to gain a deeper understanding of cursed energy. Uraume's ice melts due to poison from Choso's blood, but Pseudo-Geto unleashes a horde of cursed spirits, allowing them to escape, telling Yuji he has high expectations for him, and Sukuna he's bringing the world back to that of the Heian age. In the aftermath, people around the country are reacting to the mysterious attack on Shibuya, while the government struggles to deal with everything, planning to go public about the existence of cursed energy as cursed spirits grow more rampant among the streets. Meanwhile, the jujutsu higher ups declare Gojo an accomplice in the Shibuya Incident, sentence Principal Yaga to death, and re-instate Yuji's execution, with Yuta Okkotsu named his executioner. In the third round, Ippo and Sisphar have dual exchanges and exchanges at the centre of the ring, with Ippo throwing his punches differently to that of the Jolt Blow, which damaged Sisphar more than Ippo's usual punches. After the third round, Ippo was instructed by Kamogawa to use uppercuts rather than left and right hooks like Sisphar in order to change the rhythm. In the fourth round, after a lengthy exchange session between the two, Ippo attempted to throw an uppercut after a hook, however, Ippo brought his body up too soon and the two boxers' foreheads collided, causing severe bleeding above their eyes. Sisphar's experience of fighting in situations like so made Ippo get hit while being unable to hit back due to his vision being affected by the blood. Ippo was launched back by an attack and saw something in the lights on the ceiling. Ippo motioned the Dempsey Roll and, instead of a constant figure-8 motion, Ippo moved his body up from below, aiming for Kamogawa's mitt in the ceiling's light, landing an uppercut on Sisphar. Sisphar went down from the uppercut and the referee immediately stopped the match, making Ippo the winner. Despite the win, Ippo received a long scolding session from Kamogawa before going home and reflecting that he has branched off a different path from Miyata in order to find his answer as to what it means to be strong. Destined Boxer Arc While Ippo was fishing, Kumi joined him and tried to invite him to go to the pool, but Ippo declined as he could not do anything due to the injuries received from fighting Sisphar. As they talked about boxing and Mashiba, Kumi requested for Ippo to make it back in one piece. Ippo felt as if he should remember that as he selfishly follow his dreams, he is making others worry a lot.
At the same time, a significant portion of his time primarily focused on training or fighting much of his formal education is spent sleeping in class. Usually, Baki never actively fights with anybody weaker than him and has no desire to hurt any of the thugs that constantly try to attack him. This version of his personality was shown an enormous contrast later in Grappler Baki, though, when Baki was 13. At this point in the story, Baki is a cocky hot-headed punk who is always looking for a battle with those he wants to prove himself to. He likely developed this attitude because of his urge to be as strong and like his father. This aspect of his personality is short-lived, though, as by the end of Baki the Grappler, Baki becomes his kind, laid-back self again while still trying to surpass Yuujirou.
