With those other anime projects now complete, now is the best time for MAPPA to continue their work on Chainsaw Man Season 2 and announce it. In addition, there have been leaks and strong rumors that MAPPA is definitely making Chainsaw Man Season 2 and even a feature-length Chainsaw Man anime movie. This was finally confirmed with the announcement of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, which is based on the fifth arc of the manga. Thus, the movie might act as Chainsaw Man Season 2 until that continuation of the show is actually released. The reason for this seeming delay may be to keep the anime from catching up with the manga too quickly.

He is given the opportunity to be reincarnated in a fantasy world. However his journey turns out to be less of a fantasy and more like tedious life except with monsters.
Its one of those isekai where the setup doesnt add much to the anime. The fact that he's from another world re-incarnated into this world adds nothing to the plot. He may aswell have just been from this world to begin with. The isekai subplot is just a pointless layer.
He ends up creating a party of adventurers. But its just a harem of misfits.

This show is overall insultingly simple and incredibly boring. I hardly enjoyed it. It was just as boring as every other slice of life moe anime, except these moe girls are animals and it's even more dumbed down since it's for children. If you're under the age of four or enjoy kid's shows like My Little Pony and, I dunno, maybe Care Bears or Barney too, you'll enjoy this show.
