Kumi passes out during Ippo's lengthy confession of love. Ippo discovered that Takamura, Kimura, and Itagaki were going to a training camp at the beach,
with Takamura taking Wanpo with him. Ippo got excited to go until Takamura mentioned how he was told to rest after the match. Aoki then arrived and invited Ippo to the beach with him, Tomiko, and Kumi. Ippo agreed after seeing Kumi.
