The opening music video ( https://myanimelist. net/anime/55016/Idol ) is a 10/10 which helped with the hype for the show, and the 1st
episode which is a double special can stand on it's own as a 10/10 as well, so I think the anime got such a good rating early on because of that. So what happens from here?
Starting from the MC (main character), is such a breath of fresh air . having a MC who's actually smart, and despite having all the
situations to be a pervert, he chose not to, unlike other shitty MCs whose that's their only defining trait (looking at you chainsaw man).
So all seems to be going fine until it's introduced this romantic sub-plot which inevitably leads to bad writting and poorly written characters (which hurts by having one of them being a main), and the main plot got massively side-tracked. For some reason they also took the almost-perfect written MC and made every girl fall in love with him just because he's hot I guess?
Still interested on watching the 2nd season because the main plot is genuinely good, but because of the flaws after the strong start, I can't give the anime a 10 like everyone else.
Every slash and thrust was followed by a spurt of blood and a spine-chilling scream, and woe to the players who lost a match, because there was a good chance that the winner's final blow would end up cutting them in two or severing their jugular vein--unleashing a fountain of blood five feet into the air. If you've never seen or played Samurai Shodown, the mention of blood and gore might lead you to compare it to Midway's Mortal Kombat, a game that was infamous at the time for its photo-realistic portrayals of death and dismemberment. Truthfully, the two games couldn't have been any more different from one another. Samurai Shodown had three times as many
attacks and combinations, giving you a richer gameplay experience, and the anime-style graphics made the blood
sprays and killing blows seem almost tasteful. Nonetheless, thanks to the brouhaha over Mortal Kombat, SNK of Japan got cold feet when it came time to release the AES version of Samurai Shodown in North America. Fans of the arcade MVS game would be sorely disappointed to learn that all of the dismemberments had been removed and that the red blood splatters had been transformed into white sprays of sweat.
However, when it tries to possess Andy, it ultimately submits to Andy's will and becomes his new uniform. The group is then informed Spoil has been spotted in New York. 6"Spoil"Shinji NagataYamato HaijimaShinji NagataNovember 11,
2023 (2023-11-11) Fuuko, Andy, and Shen travel to Longing, Nevada after learning the previous
intelligence was a false lead. Shen says that Union scouts walled off the city before they died. Upon arrival, Andy blows a hole in the wall to gain an entryway but unleashes a horde of zombies. Andy quickly disposes of most of them except for one, who is still cognizant. Shen states that UMAs are the living embodiment of the rules and punishments made by God and that Andy's recklessness has most likely already caused him to be exposed to Spoil's power. Clothes confirms this by showing that a timer has shown up on Andy's stomach. When the timer hits zero, Andy's body starts to rot but due to his Undead ability, it only works halfway. The zombie says she will reveal where Spoil is if Andy agrees to marry her, with which he complies. Meanwhile, Fuuko and Shen find some children hiding in a bunker who are also infected.
