It’s in Keelung City, not New Taipei City, but I mention it here because it’s easy to combine with your visit to places like Yehliu, Jiufen, or Shifen in Eastern New Taipei City.
Finish your day trip at the market before heading back to Taipei. On Shenkeng Old Street, try some of the best stinky tofu in Taiwan. You can find the stewed (麻辣臭豆腐), grilled (串燒臭豆腐), and deep fried (臭豆腐) kinds of stinky tofu.
