DanMachi isn’t remotely close to the worst shows I’ve watched but it brings absolutely nothing new to the anime table. There are less memorable moments in this series then there are words in its own title.
I’ll be nice enough to say that there were brief moments where I did sit enough and give it some attention. I can see why other people can enjoy it for longer periods than myself. There’s flashy fights and some nicely animated sequences that even got a cynical man like me to sit up and say ‘Yeah. That’s alright’. The story isn’t going to blow your socks off but it never drags. The action keeps coming and the show rarely sits down for a breather. However I feel like a lot of the purpose of the world is kept locked away from us, which got on my nerves. There’s characters pulling the strings from shadows but even as the show comes to a close we learn almost nothing new.
I can stop hacking away at the show for a moment when it comes to the art department. As for scripting, Toshiya Ono has replaced Manabu Okamoto as the scriptwriter for the second season. Recap of Mushoku Tensei season 1 Season 1 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation took viewers on an enthralling journey through a vibrant and magical world. Expand Tweet In the first season of, Rudeus's remarkable transformation was impressive as he embraced his new life and made a commitment to personal growth. Guided by his wise and formidable father figure, Paul, Rudeus went on a journey of magical training, where his exceptional talent for the arcane arts became evident soon. As the story unfolded, Rudeus encountered a diverse group of characters who profoundly impacted his journey. Together, they navigated the intricate complexities of their world, forging an unbreakable bond in the process. Additionally, Rudeus found friendship in Roxy, an adept adventurer and his initial mentor. Through her guidance and invaluable life lessons she imparted upon him, he honed his magical abilities.
