It brings me a lot of laughing from the funny parts, and tears from the touching moments (yes, I really did shatter my tears). It's really an awesome anime, I've been watching from episode 1 - 144 so far, and I never found even a second of the anime boring. And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the chess analogy at the start of the show based on an illegal move? Despite it's flaws, It's still a pretty enjoyable time so long as you don't think too much about it. The logic behind characters' actions, or lack thereof, is just there to show off one common trope after the next. It just reuses older clichés done to death over the years, all culminating in a mediocre execution. Overall, while it isn't exactly a bad experience, I feel it's flaws are greatly overlooked.
