A dark, suspenseful and extremely entertaining anime that boldly answers back to the skeptics who think that all anime must be as brain-dead and child-oriented as the majority of prime-time viewing. (Which is, quite frankly, usually embarrassing to watch in the presence of others. ) The plot of Monster is without a doubt the best part, dark but not without cheerful scenes, and centered around the story of a Dr. Tenma, a talented Nero-surgeon, who's upright morals soon send him on a rarely chosen

But honestly I was excited to jump into every episode to see what happens next. I also felt the show was very funny. Anime and comidy don't usually mix, Otaku humor is just awful and it results in meme level jokes forced into a script
that would work better without a not funny joke ham-fisted in. But One Punch Man never breaks up the flow of the show it just sneaks it's way in and reminds you at the
best moment HEY, YOUR WATCHING A SATIRE! I feel like my only few beefs with this show are that they don't flush the cast out enough, one of my favorite elements of the show is the wide supporting cast. Each hero has their own personality and reasons for being a hero. Even some of the ones who suck like Licenseless Rider or Stinger are hard not to love.
