Story
We follow the journey of Bell Cranel. Bell is an ‘adventurer’, one who goes forth to the dungeon to seek fame and glory while putting their life on the line to do so. There he encounters the
talented and renowned ‘Sword Princess’ Aiz Wallenstein. Suddenly he’s love struck. With the help of his goddess Hestia, Bell sets out to conquer not
only beasts but also his fear of approaching the girl of his dreams.
I’ll put my positive first: This is that show that doesn’t dwell on things for too long. Bell makes progression at a ridiculous rate but at least events keep coming and every episode feels fresh in some way. Different enemies provide a new challenge. Some of these enemies remind Bell of when he was weaker and it brings some painful memories. He has to overcome these
grim reminders and apply the new knowledge he’s learned to beat his enemies.
As Kumi scolded Mashiba and Ippo, and Mashiba began arguing with Ippo again, Kumi flipped a table, causing a plate and mug to break a window and told them both to apologise. Ippo making a promise to Mashiba. Ippo began to leave the house, believing that nothing good can come of him staying. Mashiba went outside with Ippo and asked him if he really has no regrets about boxing, noting how he still wears the
weight straps and continuing his roadwork, making him no different than when he was active. Ippo
explained that he is so used to wearing weight straps that he can't stop wearing them, and that he only is doing roadwork to run with his students. Mashiba asked again if he has any regrets, and Ippo quickly replied he doesn't. Mashiba mentioned that it is fine if that is how he feels, but Miyata won't accept it, asking if he is really okay not fighting him. Mashiba added that Miyata, who was a top prospect is now just wandering like a zombie, and wondered if deep down Ippo has regrets, which is why neither one of them can move on. Ippo glared at Mashiba and claimed that they had countless chances to fight, which Mashiba thought that Ippo wanted to say that it is his fault. Mashiba claimed that he fouled against Miyata on purpose, so he was the one who got in the way of their promise. As Ippo remembered what happened, he got angry, but Mashiba apologised, shocking Ippo.
