Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru Mizuho Miyanokouji, a high school student, reluctantly attends the exclusively female Seio Academy per his grandfather’s last wishes. To navigate this situation, Mizuho decides to disguise himself and enter the academy. Initially known only by the principal, two professors, and his best friend Mariya Mikado, Mizuho’s secret is eventually discovered by two other students, Sion Jujo and Ichiko Takashima, who choose not to reveal it. Mizuho unintentionally becomes popular at school, being elected as “onee-sama,” a symbolic figure embodying the school’s traditions. This leads to a rivalry with Student Council President Takako Itsukushima, who aspired to the same role. 31. Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You (2009) The two main actors in this show are Sawako and 2000s horror. Okay, that is a bit misleading. But in short, the main female protagonist Sawako can’t seem to find any friends because everyone thinks she looks like the girl from the Ring. How they could look at that adorable face and think that is beyond me. But there’s one feller who has a functioning pair of eyes, Shouta, and he’s her golden ticket to friendship. Reviews Write review 23 Recommended 2 Mixed Feelings 3 Not Recommended All reviews (28) Sep 3, 2008 j1n Recommended Saint Seiya was one of the very first anime series I watched as a young kid. Being that I might've had a bias towards this anime, I decided to watch it again not very long ago. While I admit this series is not as good as I remembered it, I belive it is still worth watching.
Saint Seiya had a brief run on Cartoon Network, but due to its violent content, it was moved to a very poor time and gradually lost any attention it received. If you followed it while they aired it or if you are just curious, I encourage you . to give it a try.
The story follows the following paradigm: Athena, with the help of the zodiac saints, protects the Earth from the other gods whose wishes are only to do away with humanity. The use of Greek mythology is vastly employed throughout the story as other gods such as Poseidon and characters such as Medusa make appearances.
