2. Despite being originally apathetic about the notion of racing, Takumi begins to grow more interested as he receives challenges from the Myogi NightKids, and begins to understand the concept of a street racer's pride, culminating in the battle between him and Ryosuke Takahashi, the so-called "White Comet of Akagi. " Takumi handed Ryosuke his first defeat. Takumi later experiences his first battles on courses other than Akina, said courses being Myogi (where he races Kenta Nakamura of the Akagi RedSuns) and Usui (where he races Mako Sato and Sayuki of Impact Blue). Emperor[] A group of street racers called Team Emperor, all using Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions, appear in the Gunma area, aiming to conquer all of the courses in the prefecture. After defeating the Myogi NightKids, two members of Emperor head to Usui pass to battle with the local team, Impact Blue. Emperor loses this battle, although they choose not to tell their leader about it. When Emperor head to Akina their No. 2 racer, Seiji Iwaki, is defeated by Takumi, breaking their winning streak. Their leader, a professionally-trained driver named Kyoichi Sudo, challenged Takumi to a race at Akagi to “teach him some things” and as a sort of cover event for his race with Ryosuke, his primary target. Takumi declined his proposal at first but eventually accepted after being infuriated with seeing Natsuki with a Mercedes Driver which left him at a disadvantage from the get-go.

As Boruto attempted to correct him, their conversation is interrupted by Garō, who gets into a fight with Kawaki. Boruto wanted to help, but Konohamaru insisted that this mission's newest variables made the danger-level to S-Rank, meaning they had to progress cautiously. Suddenly, Boruto's Kāma activated again, causing Boruto agony. At the same time, Kawaki's own Kāma activated, giving him newfound energy and proceeded to kill Garō. Boruto activated his own mark, using it to absorb the shockwave to protect his team-mates. Seeing this convinced Kawaki more than ever that they were with Kara before he fainted. As Katasuke examined the boy, he determined that Kawaki was in fact the result of an unprecedented Ninja Tech, as his entire being was modified. It was decided that they bring Kawaki to Naruto. In the anime, while Konohamaru went to report to the Hokage, Team 7 brought Kawaki back to the research institute to be examined. Eventually Kawaki was able to escape the facility, prompting Naruto to intervene and subdue the foreigner. In Konoha, Boruto continued wondering how his mark was related to Kawaki. On April 1, 2016, it was announced that the series would premiere on Adult Swim's Toonami block, which began airing on April 16, 2016. [77][78] Films Before the first anime television series was created, a short film adaptation of Hunter × Hunter was shown as part of the 1998 "Jump Super Anime Tour" alongside similar adaptations of Seikimatsu Leader den Takeshi! and One Piece. A film adaptation by the second television anime's staff called Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge, featuring an original story, was announced in March 2012. It was released on January 12, 2013 by Toho. [80][81][82] It centers around Gon and his friends efforts to retrieve Kurapika's eyes which were stolen by Omokage, the original person with the No. 4 spider tattoo. The film is based on an unpublished story manga creator Yoshihiro Togashi wrote around 10 years before. [83] A second film, titled Hunter × Hunter: The Last Mission, was announced following the first one's debut. The movie was released on December 27, 2013,[84] and the DVD and Blu-ray was released on July 23, 2014.
Some of the action scenes were cool and some of the techniques were really unique. I actually thought it was very realistic that some of the characters died. These sad occurrences keep the thrill and intensity alive. Unfortunately, one of my favorite characters was killed off :’( The Ok: You get the usual anime things like characters who walk, talk, etc after getting multiple deadly blows. The Bad: The "main plot" was average at best. I honestly found it paper thin after the first 5 episodes.
