extend his lifespan, knowing that he is a half-oni who is in danger of being consume by his demon side. They discover that their predicaments both stem from a foreigner with an "M" engraved on his cane. Tsugaru admits he initially planned to accept his decline into becoming a mindless oni and take revenge on the circus and its bloodthirsty audience who treated his fights as entertainment.
