Netflix announced that a second season was in production for a post-2022 release. [11][5] In 2023, it was reported that the second season is set to
premiere in the last quarter of 2024,[12] while an official announcement was made in November during the annual Netflix Geeked Week, with a release date set to November 2024. [13] Broadcast[edit] Marketing[edit] Riot Games promoted the launch of Arcane through events in their games, including League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends:
Wild Rift, and Valorant as "RiotX Arcane". [14] It launched promotional collaborations with non-Riot games such as PUBG Mobile,[15] Fortnite,[16] and Among Us. The experience was "equipped with bespoke backstories and missions, the
line between actors and audience is truly blurred as players explore the dark and dangerous underworld and encounter its inhabitants—the strange, the sinister and sometimes even the friendly".
Boruto's group pursuing Mitsuki. As the group began to approach the Land of Earth's border, Shikadai had Inojin and Chōchō to
return to the village to report their findings. As the other
genin continued their pursuit, they found the remains of a clay creature, which Boruto recognised as the same thing that attacked Mitsuki's snake. Their group soon found a group of Konoha jōnin who were defeated by one of the gate attackers, Kokuyō. The man quickly revealed himself to be an artificial being with superhumanly augmented abilities. As the genin were quickly pressured by him, Inojin and Chōchō arrived to help. The Ino-Shika-Chō trio decided to hold him off as Boruto and Sarada went on ahead. They were intercepted by another one of the gate attacks, Sekiei, who noted that Mitsuki was with them willingly. He initially held them off with his Explosive Clay, until Boruto summoned Garaga, who initially refused to help until his might was questioned by Boruto. As Sekiei struggled to dodge Garaga's assault, his body suddenly gave out. While Boruto attempted to finish him off, Mitsuki appeared to save Sekiei.
