They are rescued by Yūya, however, leaving them in deep shame over their past behavior towards him. Araki Takeshi (荒木 武)
Voiced by: Chado Horii (Japanese); Cory Phillips (English) One of Yūya's former schoolmates and tormentors, and a member of a violent gang called the Red Ogres. After Yūya's transformation and transfer to Ōsei Academy, he and the other Ogres participate in a revenge raid against Yūya and Kaori until Yūya single-handedly defeats the entire gang and they are arrested by the police. The Sage (賢者, Kenja) Voiced by: Ryōtarō Okiayu An
enigmatic person from the other world who, like Yūya, achieved a vast physical and mental prowess, but declined assuming divinity because he valued his humanity. He was the one who built the house which the portal in Yūya's house connects to, in the midst of the Forest of Weald (also known as the Demons' Den), the most monster-infested region in Arselia. Yūya later finds the Sage's remains inside a cave in the forest, along with his journal which enables him to learn and wield magic. Arnold von Arselia (アーノルド・フォン・アルセリア, Ānorudo fon Aruseria) Voiced by: Akio Otsuka (Japanese); Tyson Rinehart (English) The king of Arselia and Lexia's father, who dotes on his daughter. He wields a magical sword
named Grackle, which is capable of cutting through almost anything and which he wields in his fits of berserkism whenever he suspects any wrongdoings committed against Lexia. Owen (オーウェン, Ōwen) Voiced by: Masaki Terasoma (Japanese); Aaron Michael (English) A famed knight of Arselia, and the leader of the squad of royal knights comprising Princess Lexia's personal bodyguards, who has to suffer the antics of both the princess and her father. Reigar von Arselia (レイガー・フォン・アルセリア, Reigā fon Aruseria) Voiced by: Ryuichi Kijima The first prince of Arselia and Lexia's older half-brother. While Lexia and he were still children, Lexia once accidentally unleashed her magical power on him, burning his face, and the exposure to Lexia's mana drove him partially insane.
Eventually, however, they decide to use his body as food. The
soldiers want to leave him tied for a few days because this would get rid of all the feces and make his body taste better. However, in the night he manages to free himself from those ties and starts to fight with each of the them. At first, he fights with Sanada, a soldier whose specialty is wielding a knife and aiming for the opponent's vital points. However, Baki overcomes him after a short fight. As soon as Baki deals the
last blow to Sanada, he is attacked from behind by the next enemy, which is the Kuraishi, a specialist in combat with unusual resilience and great strength. During the fight, Kuraishi decides to drown him in a nearby river. Baki pretends to be really drowned, but after a while he attacks him from behind and uses the Rear Naked Choke. Thanks to this fight, Baki learns that there's no fair-play on the battlefield. After this battle, Kuraishi tells Baki that among them is a really dangerous soldier named Gaia. He advises him to run away, but Baki is even more excited and ignores his words.
Isekai is a
genre of fantasy anime where a character travels from the world they know to an unfamiliar one. Typically, isekai series will place a person in a magical realm of fantasy and/or terror, though occasionally it happens in reverse. The Devil Is a Part-Timer!, for instance, shows what happens when Satan must adjust to life in Tokyo - which means getting a job in fast food. Some isekai anime, like Sword Art Online and Log Horizon, take place in virtual worlds or MMORPGs, while others feature real worlds with real people living in them. When it comes to the best isekai anime, the finest series present
viewers with worlds just as compelling as any protagonist. If you're looking for an anime to transport you to another world, try one of these.
